Bale-Wire Clamp Jars

Hello!

I'm new to this community, just joined today. I've been a food storage nut for years, but only this year have really begun to get into canning as well.

So my question is this:

I bought some of the clamp jars today with the intention of making refrigerator pickles in them. Now I'm not sure I want to use them for this, and would instead prefer to use them to can "regular" pickles. Is this safe? And if so, what is the best procedure for doing so? Would it be better to pressure can my pickles, or still use a water bath?

The jars are basically the same as in the following link, though I bought them elsewhere:

TIA!
